“THERE IS ONE REASON WHY BENTLEY HAS ALWAYS BEEN EXTRAORDINARY: OUR PEOPLE.”
Wolfgang Dürheimer, Chairman & CEO Bentley
Bentley has always had one clear aim: to create extraordinary cars for extraordinary customers.
We also have a history of thinking about tomorrow. From the moment the first 3-Litre engine roared into life in a mews behind London’s Baker Street in 1919, we’ve been continually driven by the idea of exceeding expectations. From the start, our customers have bought into the Bentley vision and chosen our cars to push the boundaries. In the early days this took place on the roads and racetracks of Europe. Today, our customers across the globe shape the world in diverse and exciting ways.
For over 90 years, the thousands of extraordinary people that work at Bentley have fed this vision. Inspired by our customers, we create the most luxurious and powerful cars in the world. With each new model, we strive to stretch the bounds of possibility. As a result, Bentley remains the definitive British luxury car company, crafting the world’s most desirable high performance cars.
Bentley, along with the rest of the automotive industry, has grown and developed to meet new challenges that were not even on the radar of its early pioneers. But it hasn’t changed completely: at heart, we still endeavour to achieve new levels of excellence that bring to life Bentley’s unique combination of luxury and power. Day after day, everyone at Bentley continues to rise to every challenge – be it changing fashions, new technology, environmental demands or the expectations of our exacting customers, whilst remaining true to the Bentley vision. Our attention to detail and dedication touches every aspect of the business, from our products and services to our events and experiences. Whatever the endeavour, our people always push themselves, and our cars, to new heights.
Who are these extraordinary people? The opportunities Bentley offers are many. Some come to us at the very start of their careers as apprentices and graduates, excited by the possibilities that Bentley has to offer as a luxury automotive brand. Many stay for their entire careers. Others bring a depth of expertise and experience along with their own personal views and innovative ideas. Bentley leaders have proven track records in the industry, expertise and a clear-sighted view of the business which not only shapes the future of Bentley but of the entire luxury motor car sector.
Together these colleagues add to the vision and potential of the Bentley community that is – like one of our extraordinary cars – far more than simply the sum of its parts.
