Texas Motor Speedway is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic video producer to join the Events Services Department. Must have solid hands-on experience with video producing, editing, shooting, and motion graphics. The ideal candidate will be skilled in producing and delivering high impact video for in-venue productions on Big Hoss TV, the world’s largest HDTV, as well as digital and broadcast environments. JOB DUTIES: Produce, Shoot, and Edit video & audio content including but not limited to fan interactive elements, ticket sales spots, sponsor promotions, community events, ceremonies, and driver skits to be shown on Big Hoss TV during various race and non-race related events.
Collaborate with the marketing team to conceptualize video ideas. Capture video content during live events, behind-the-scenes and in scripted environments. Quickly and efficiently edit high-quality video for online, in-venue and broadcast distribution. Manage video/audio shoots using in-house equipment and personnel. Work with in-house motion graphics artist to incorporate appropriate graphics into video projects where needed to achieve desired marketing objectives. Competent in writing scripts for use in promotions, social content and historical videos. Export final deliverable files and distribute through various channels including ad trafficking. Maintain and organize library of video assets. Assist other departments in video content creation and documentation when requested. Manage freelance personnel for shoots and editing.
Minimum 3-to-5 years of professional experience in video production. Superior camera skill with creative eye and a working knowledge of various types of cameras. Must work in cinematic style, mainly DSLR. Knowledge of lighting and light setups for quality video shoots. Ability to capture and cleanly key green screen shoots. Proficiency with the Adobe Creative Cloud suite. Premiere required. After Effects is a plus. Well-developed editing work flow. Proficient with color correction and sound design. Understanding of LTO archiving format is a plus. Strong interest in motorsports i.e. NASCAR, IndyCar. Interest in, and understanding of pop culture and how it relates to creation of entertaining video content. Must be creative, resourceful, shoot & edit independently. Willingness to work a non-traditional schedule including special events, three major race weekends, plus occasional nights, weekends, and holidays.
